Meet The Doctor

Kurt Christensen, DDS, earned his dental degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry after earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and San Diego County Dental Society, as well as the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. His extensive postgraduate education courses have focused on cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, dental implants, and occlusion (your bite). His most recent training in sleep apnea treatment allows him to provide his patients with alternatives to the CPAP machine to restore restful sleep to their nights.

His dental expertise is only one part of what San Diego Smiles has to offer. Dr. Christensen and his team win their patients over with their positive attitude and compassionate care. They take great pride in knowing they provide the highest quality of care tailored to each patient’s individual needs and desires.

In his spare time, Dr. Christensen enjoys golfing, surfing, and playing pickleball. He maintains an active lifestyle with mountain biking, hiking, and stand up paddle boarding. A love of the outdoors is something he shares with his 3 boys who he loves spending time with and attends all their sporting events.
